# Manage Rules
After clicking “continue” you’ll land on the following screen:
Managing rules option allows you to set specific rules that enable you to determine which traits of your NFT must go along with certain traits.
Note: This is an optional feature and you can skip it if you want or if you have no need for it.
You must take the following steps in order to set the rules of art generation for your NFT collection.
**Step 1**: Click on the “set rule criteria” button.
**Step 2**: Select your trait & attributes by clicking the “select trait & attribute” drop down option.
**Step 3**: Click the “must combine/must not combine” drop down option and select one.
**Step 4**: Select your trait & attributes by clicking the second “select trait & attribute” drop down option.
**Step 5**: Click on “save rule” to save your rule settings.
After saving the rule, you have the option to either, edit the rule or delete the rule.
Once you’re done with setting all the rules, you must click on the “save changes” button on the bottom right of your screen to move onto the next phase of your NFT generation.
